Life Check# 12 Biggest and Weirdest Space Stories of 2016

1- The Biggest Space Stories of 2016: The Good, the Bad and the Weird
Fifty years after the debut of Star Trek, space is still the final frontier. This year scientists continued to explore the possibility of life on other planets, confirmed a 100-year-old theory about black holes and even intercepted possible extraterrestrial signals. Here are six of the biggest stories from the year in space:
Concept art of SpaceX’s upcoming Falcon Heavy rocket. SpaceX
1. Any conversation about modern space exploration has to begin with SpaceX. The aerospace manufacturer had another busy year, test firing an engine powerful enough to take humans to Mars and successfully landing part of its Falcon 9 rocket on a drone ship (proving that landings be just as successful on water as on Earth). As always, however, the company made its biggest headlines after a tragedy—the Falcon 9 exploded in midair while carrying a $200 million Facebook satellite. But SpaceX CEO Elon Musk didn’t dwell on the bad news: he was too busy outlining his plan for a human colony on Mars—the idea might not be too off base, given that just last month researchers at Arizona State University unearthed evidence of ancient life on the Red Planet.

2. Musk isn’t the only person interested in the possibility of life on other planets: this year Bill Nye advocated searching for extraterrestrial life on Jupiter’s moon Europa, which has twice as much seawater as the Earth— the Hubble Space Telescope has observed water vapor venting off the moon’s vast, unseen (for now) ocean. Nye actually thinks SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket (currently in development) would be ideal for launching a probe toward Jupiter. The mission likely won’t occur until the 2020s, but that gives us something to look forward to.

3. Things got extra weird in August, when a team of scientists from the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) began investigating alien signals from deep space. The signals were seemingly beamed directly at our solar system from a civilization 95 light years away that can harness solar energy. There’s a good chance aliens are even closer than that, however—NASA’s director of planetary science echoed Musk and Nye, saying in a TED Talk that Mars, along with moons on Saturn and Jupiter were also probable sources of extraterrestrial life.

4. While the government hasn’t offered an official stance on aliens, it’s still plenty interested in space as a whole: in October President Obama unveiled his “Interplanetary Frontiers Directive,” aiming to expand human presence throughout the solar system. He encouraged NASA to focus on deep space exploration, with the ultimate goal of getting humans to Mars by the 2030s. The Obama administration also directed NASA to work with the commercial space industry and develop habitats which could safely house astronauts during long trips through deep space. President-elect Donald Trump actually has a similar plan for deep space research—the main directive he’s outlined for NASA is human exploration of the entire solar system by the end of this century.

5. The National Science Foundation’s Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) took an important step in this regard in February, when researchers announced the first direct detection of a gravitational wave. This ripple in spacetime in which two black holes merge was first proposed by Albert Einstein in his 1916 theory of relativity. Scientists also discovered this year that black holes can produce cosmic rays, space radiation which enters the atmosphere and bombards the Earth (though not to a harmful extent).

6. If any radioactive or otherwise alien force ever does attack our planet, however, we could always escape to Asgardia. A group of scientists at Vienna’s Aerospace International Research Center launched a crowdfunding campaign for their pacifist nation state in October—over 500,000 people signed up for it. The new country “will offer an independent platform free from the constraint of a land-based country’s laws,” its website reads. Asgardia plans to launch its first satellite late next year, and hopes to one day be recognized by the United Nations.
How many of these planned missions will actually blast off? How will Trump’s space initiatives pan out? And is there actually life on other planets? Here’s hoping these interstellar issues, and many others, will continue to start conversations in 2017.

Top 5 Reasons Why Aliens Might Live Next Door

2- How Soon Will We Discover Alien Life?

Will alien life be left undiscovered by humans for another 1,500 years, as a new study by a group of astronomers suggest, or will that day come much sooner? There are several good reasons to believe that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the galaxy — and it may be found fairly close to our home planet.

If advanced life-forms are common throughout the galaxy, it increases the chances such a civilization will be found near Earth. Here are the top five reasons to believe aliens may soon be discovered by our own species.

First, the sheer number of exoplanets is remarkable. The Kepler spacecraft alone has recorded 2,326 planets circling other stars. It would appear alien stars are brimming with worlds.

In addition, water is often considered to be a requirement for life, at least of the type found on Earth. Once thought to be rare on alien worlds, water has now been seen on Europa, Mars and Enceladus. This suggests the universal solvent may also be common on planets circling other suns.

"Life finds a way" is not just a quote from Jurassic Park, but is also a statement on the resiliency of life. Here on Earth, life-forms evolved in areas without light, oxygen and other necessities for most species.

Many precursors of life, including proteins, fats and carbohydrates, are being spotted on comets, moons and planets. These complex organic molecules are seen from the atmosphere of Saturn's moon Titan to the Orion Nebula.

In 1977, astronomer Jerry Ehman was working at the Big Ear radio telescope, searching for signals from intelligent extraterrestrial civilizations. Suddenly, a signal was received that closely resembled a call from outer space. The burst last for 72 seconds, but was never repeated. Current studies suggest this reading may have been the result of a comet tumbling through space. Still, this signal remains the most likely candidate yet seen for a potential call from an alien species.

All these factors may result in human beings contacting alien civilizations for the first time in the next few decades, some researchers contend. As time goes on, the amount of evidence supporting the presence of life on other worlds is becoming greater.
"I think we're going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth within a decade, and I think we're going to have definitive evidence within 20 to 30 years. We know where to look. We know how to look. In most cases we have the technology, and we're on a path to implementing it. And so I think we're definitely on the road," said Ellen Stofan, NASA chief scientist.

During the year 2020, NASA will launch a new rover to Mars, which is specifically designed to find evidence of life, however primitive, on or just beneath the surface of the red planet.

The Drake equation, created by astronomer Frank Drake, was developed to estimate the number of civilizations in the Milky Way. If enough of the factors in the equation — including the number of exoplanets and the fraction that may support life - favor life, then aliens may be living next door.

UFO Proof Is Everywhere, People Just Choose To Ignore It

3- Spectacular Officially Verified ‘UFO’ Footage From NASA’s STS-48 Discovery Space Shuttle

The film footage you see below comes from the 1991 NASA STS-48 Discovery Space Shuttle mission. It’s truly some of the best footage (that’s been officially verified) available for public viewing. This particular sighting, among others, has been the subject of rigorous scientific investigation by multiple researchers and institutions.(1)(2)(3)

Explanations vary, from ice particles to the extraterrestrial hypothesis; you can read the publications listed in the sources below for more information with regards to the explanation behind this footage.

Many NASA astronauts have expressed their belief that we are not alone, and that we are being visiting, and that many of these UFOs are indeed of extraterrestrial origin. Others have completely denied it, stating that there is no such evidence available to make those conclusions. We are not saying that this particular case represents an alien space craft, but it does indeed represent an Unidentified Flying Object showing some strange maneuverability characteristics.

One great example of extraterrestrial claims by a (former) NASA astronaut (and Princeton physics professor) comes from Dr. Brian O’leary, who said that:

There is abundant evidence that we are being contacted, that civilizations have been visiting us for a very long time, that their appearance is bizarre from any kind of traditional materialistic western point of view, that these visitors use the technologies of consciousness, they use toroids, they use co-rotating magnetic disks for their propulsion systems, that seems to be a common denominator of the UFO phenomenon. (source)

The late Dr. Edgar Mitchell, 6th man to walk on the moon and founder of the Institute of Noetic Science (IONS) stated that he knows for sure that we are not alone, and that he was “privileged” enough to know that we are not alone. (source)

Again, these are just a few of many examples. These statements, along side all of the documentation, that’s been released about UFOs (like this for example) make the extraterrestrial hypothesis as a possible explanation for some of these UFOs, in my opinion, a plausible.

Life Check# 10 Who Will Speak For Earth During UFO/Alien Disclosure?

When First Contact Happens ............. Who Should Speak For Earth

Who should speak on behalf of planet Earth

First Contact with extraterrestrials is not a frivolous topic, it is a subject every thinking man and woman on the planet should consider. When the task of communicating with intelligent life finally arises we need to have a clear plan in place. First and foremost, who should speak on behalf of planet earth?
NASA
NASA is a government organization funded by the federal government of the United States. Also, most people of the world don't realize that NASA serves two masters, NASA reports directly to the White House and also to the Department of the Defense (the military).  NASA  cannot secure one dollar for its projects without approval from the military. Therefore current NASA employees should be ruled out as Earth Ambassadors. They certainly should have a seat at the table but with only a minor role, more of technical advisers rather than actual ambassadors.
Political Leaders
There is little doubt that most people that become politicians do so for the right reasons, but they get swallowed up by the political system and change on pretty short order.
The vast majority of politicians end up caring more about their base of power, their party, reelection or reappointment, their legacy and their finances than the well being of people on planet earth.  This holds true of leaders from Russia to Riyadh and from America to Armenia.  Politicians should be ruled out, no compromises and no exceptions.

Military Leaders
Many people take the view that if you want to avoid a war then let a military person make the decisions. I don't believe this for a minute, people in the military have been trained to protect the homeland at all cost. The have a full arsenal of weapons at their disposal. Don't get me wrong, I have all the respect in the world for the military I just don't think they should be our first or even a second option as earth ambassadors. They should have a seat at the table but one that is extremely limited. Like NASA more of an advisory role than an ambassador.
United Nations
The UN is a political machine that has not been able to prevent war, disputes  or even local skirmishes. They have failed on a massive scale to prevent famine, poverty and have not put a dent into the African aids epidemic. All of the members are appointed through politics or because they donated money to a successful political candidate. They are the poster child for ineffective organizations and should not be involved in first contact in any way whatsoever. No compromises and no exceptions.
The Vatican
Not everyone on the planet is religious, wars have been fought in the name of religion since organized religion was created.  Therefore the Vatican should be discounted no matter what knowledge they possess.  Putting any religious organization in charge of first contact would cause tensions between different organized religions and tensions from those that have no religious affiliation. Also first contact is will not be a religious event even though many people may interpret it that way. No compromises and no exceptions.

Council of Elders
This would be an international non-government collection of public and non public figures, they would consist of elder statesmen that are at least 60+ years of age. Race, gender, religious affiliation and political ideology should not play any role in the selection process.  They would be retired doctors, philosophers, charity workers, astronomers, scientist, farmers, astrophysicist, biologist, zoologist in essence people that would not have a financial or political stake in any outcome. The number of people that would sit in this council is certainly open for debate but probably six to ten in total. The only prerequisite is that they would be honest people that use critical thought before communicating and making decisions.

They would have conducted their lives with family first and work second. It would be necessary that they have a realistic positive outlook on life and on the human race. They would not be fatalist that believe mankind is doomed through global warming, political action or any other missteps in behavior.  They would believe and understand that mankind has a significant role to play in the greater universe and strongly believe in the goodness of mankind.

They would use their collective experience and wisdom  to demand transparency in all talks and  at the same time request affirmation of peaceful negotiations while keeping an open mind. They would search for an environment that would assure a peaceful coexistence for all the parties involved.

This councils overriding desire would be to leave humanity better off than when they arrived. They would possess the ability to awaken the people of earth to the new reality that they are facing.

Communication With the People of Earth

The mainstream media has proven itself to be an ineffective, dishonest communication tool with a political agenda. It has become so ingrained in today's media to sensationalize the news, omit pertinent facts and put a negative slant on every story that it would be best to remove them from the process altogether. No compromises and no exceptions.

The Council of Elders would collectively communication relevant and important substance of their discussions with the visitors. They would communicate with whatever media source(s) could reach the largest number of people at any one time.

The council of elder would understand the following
·             They would not want or expect salvation from the visitors
·             First Contact is not a religious event
·             They would not feel hopeless or submissive to what we all assume is superior race
·             Advance technology does not mean advanced ethics, morality or spirituality
·             They would not assume first contact is a mysterious event, it is explainable and comprehensible
·             They would not expect ET's technology to save mankind
·             Just because the visitors have not attacked that their motive are pure.

·             Understand that no beings in the universe (no matter how technologically advanced) have a claim to earth, its resources or people

Life Check# 4 Did Man or Extraterrestrials Create The Moon?

Did Man or Extraterrestrials Create The Moon?

For years we have told and taught that our moon is a barren rock devoid of any life whatsoever. We think of the moon as a desolate landscape with nothing but dust, boulders and craters that mark its landscape. The Apollo missions of the 1960's and 70's only confirmed this belief. This material is still being taught in schools today.

Is it time to rethink this story, could it be very different then what we have been told.
Is the moon hollow? Was it man-made, extraterrestrials made with a thick layer of dust simply covering it’s metal frame over billions of years?
Of course, this supposes that advanced human civilizations existed billions of years ago, a theory which has also gained some attention as artifacts are found that call into question the conventional understanding of history.
Such theories remain of interest to many as scientists continue to study the moon and learn about its composition and workings.
Here’s a look at some moon oddities.
 1. Reverberations: Hollow Moon?
NASA created an impact on the moon in 1969 so Apollo 12 astronauts could measure the resulting seismic waves. The shock waves shocked scientists.
Very different from any seismic phenomena recorded on Earth, the vibrations continued for about an hour and started out as small waves that gained in strength.
Dr. Ross Taylor’s explanation is quoted in the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal on the NASA website. Taylor is a lunar scientist who helped examine samples gathered by Apollo 11.
He said: “This was one of those extraordinary things. When you had the impact of these things on the moon, unlike a terrestrial earthquake, which dies away quickly, the shock waves continued to reverberate around the moon for a period of an hour or more, and this is attributed to the extremely dry nature of the lunar rock.
“As far as we know there is no moisture on the moon, nothing to damp out these vibrations. The moon’s surface is covered with rubble and this just transmits these waves without them being damped out in any way as they are on Earth. Basically, it’s a consequence of the moon being extremely dry.”

Suniti Karunatillake, an astronomer at Stonybrook University, wrote on the “Ask an Astronomer” website that if the moon were hollow, due to its size, it could not be dense enough to have the gravitational force it does.
2. Anomalous Orbit
Italian physicist Lorenzo Iorio published an article in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society in 2011 discussing the “anomalous behavior” of the moon.
He said a slight change over time in the lunar orbit could not be explained within the current paradigm. The moon’s orbit is increasing in eccentricity.
Eccentricity is a measure that describes how much an orbit deviates from a perfect circle.
Iorio concludes in the study abstract, “The issue of finding a … [satisfactory] explanation for the anomalous behavior of the moon’s eccentricity remains open.”
3. Convex Moon Craters

Some craters on the moon are convex (with a surface that is curved or rounded outward) instead of concave (curved inward, or hollowed), which some say is evidence of a rigid (man-made) shell below the surface layer. When meteors hit the moon, one would expect them to make concave craters.
Charles A. Wood, of the Department of Geological Sciences at Brown University, wrote in a 1978 paper that these convex craters were likely created by lava. He said the lava seeped up through fractures to the surface.
He noted: “For the lava to form rings rather than ponds … requires a higher viscosity or a lower extrusion rate than normal mare lavas [“Mare” refers to large, dark plains on the moon formed by volcanic eruptions once thought to be seas]. The magma may have been mare basalts erupted under unusual conditions, or mare basalt that differentiated within pockets, or in some cases, a non-mare magma type.”
4. Moon Stabilizes the Earth’s Axis
Whether intentionally made to serve some function or not, the moon provides a service to the Earth.
“The moon stabilizes Earth’s wobble, which has led to more stable climate,” according to NASA.
NASA scientist Dr. Eric Christian and NASA education outreach specialist Beth Barbier explain more in post on NASA’s website: “[The moon adds] drag to the Earth’s rotation in the form of tides, both oceanic and internal. This added drag tends to stabilize the rotation. It is also gradually slowing down the rotation of the Earth, which gradually lengthens Earth days.”

The same numbers come up in looking at measurements related to the moon, sun, and Earth. The diameter of the sun is about 400 times the diameter of the moon; the moon is also about 400 times closer to Earth than the sun.
The diameter of the sun is about 108 times the diameter of the Earth; the distance between the Earth and the sun is about 108 times the diameter of the sun.
Moon diameter: 2,100 miles (3,400 kilometers)
Sun diameter: 864,000 miles (1,391,000 kilometers)
Earth diameter: 7,900 miles (12,756 kilometers)
Distance from moon to Earth: 225,700 miles (360,000 kilometers)
Mean distance from sun to Earth (it is sometimes closer, sometimes further): 92,900,000 miles (149,600,000 kilometers)

Life Check#1 UFO sightings in the 17th century

Sightings of unidentified flying objects in the territories we know today as European Russia, Ukraine, the Baltics, Belarus, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Siberia and Far East began thousands of years ago. Some fascinating sightings took place in the tumultuous 17th century.

The 17th century was full of hardships and suffering for the people of Georgia. But indomitable Georgians rose up to liberate Georgia from the Safavid dynasty of Persia and the Ottoman Empire of Turkey, on a number of occasions.

Western Georgia belonged to the Osman Ottoman by the terms of the 1639 treaty. Akhaltsikhe is a small city in Georgia’s southwestern region (mkhare) of Samtskhe-Javakheti. The city has been around for at least 800 years, and was a regional administrative center for the Ottomans from the 16th century up to the Russo-Turkish War.

Deacon Zakaria Sarkawagi was a churchman and Armenian historian. He was known as Zakaria of Kanaker, for he was born in 1626 in the village of Kanaker, now a suburb of Yerevan; he died in 1699 in a monastery of Hovhannavank (in the present-day Armenia). His writings dealt with the socioeconomic history of the Ottoman Empire in the second half of the 17th century and describe the wars between the Safavids and the Ottomans in Armenia and Mesopotamia. His manuscripts are kept in Yerevan, in the Matenadaran Archives. Sarkawagi’s writings were published in 1870, Zakaria Sarkawagi patmagrut’iwn (Chronicle). Khronika, translated by M. Darbinian-Melikian (Moscow, 1969) was the Russian translation based on all available manuscripts.

Mikhail Gershtein, the foremost UFO researcher in Russia today, has mentioned two works of Sarkawagi that contain fascinating descriptions of UFOs (Mikhail Gerstein, Po tu storonu NLO, Saint Petersburg, Russia, 2002). He referred to the article published in the extremely popular Soviet magazine Tekhnika-Molodyozhi (Issue 6, 1991), where a number of articles about UFOs, ancient astronaut hypothesis, and paranormal phenomena had been published by its audacious editors during the scant, less ideologically rigid periods of the Soviet era.
Chronicles-of-Deacon-Zakaria-SarkawagiThe article, titled Kamennaya letopis’ vtorzheniy was written by Akop Tonakanyan, the Chairman of the Ufology Commission of Yerevan, and Vadim Orlov, the science writer for Tekhnika-Molodyozhi. It mentioned two manuscripts of Zakaria Sarkawagi.
One was titled Regarding the fall of light from the sky, and the other manuscript was titled About heavenly signs in the sky.
The first one contains description of a phenomenon that Zakaria Sarkawagi observed in 1641.
“In the day the cross was erected, he wrote, during the sunset, it was not dark yet, and the daylight continued. Suddenly, the ether on the eastern side exploded, and descending was a large and blue light. Wide and long, it descended to approach the Earth, and its light illuminated everything around, brighter than the Sun. And the front part of the light rotated like a wheel, moving to the north, red and white (sic),  and in front of the light, at the distance of an open palm (of a hand-P.S.) was a star, the size of Venus. My father sand, crying, six sharakans; the light was still visible, but later departed and became invisible, and we heard later that this wonderful light was observed in Akhaltsikhe.”
In the other manuscript, About heavenly signs in the sky, Zakaria Sarkawagi described a mysterious phenomenon from 1679.
“One night everyone saw in the air something [that looked] like a staff and spear. The ends were like those of a lance. They began to turn gradually east and west. This lasted for 20 days, and then quickly disappeared. After that a star appeared; a very large one, of yellow color, with long and bulky hair that pointed to the west. And the hair radiated and like sparks fell on the ground. This lasted for a month and two days. [The star] never moved from the spot, was visible sometimes in the evening, sometimes in the morning, and sometimes at night, but later would disappear.”
Perhaps there are more observations about the mysterious spear-shaped UFOs scattered throughout ancient manuscripts.
UFOs over Russia
The most famous UFO sighting in the ancient Russian history occurred during the reign of Czar Alexey. Yuri Roszius and other Russian researchers of the paranormal phenomena have studied it extensively.  The event occurred “in the year 171” (that is, the year 7171 from “the creation of the world”). It corresponds to the year 1663 C.E.
The details of this amazing and enigmatic event have been preserved because of the efforts of the Archaeographic Commission. It published a collection of its Historical Acts in 1842.  Among these acts was an authentic 17th century document. It was signed by Ivan (Ivashko) Rzhevsky, a “laborer“; a report to his “masters” about something that had happened 10 versts from their Loza monastery estate. A verst is approximately 3500 feet. Here is an account of the event, translated to contemporary terms.
On August 15, 1663, between 10 a.m. and noon, local time, a “great noise” resounded over Robozero Lake, located in the Vologda Region; about 50 kilometers southwest of Belozersk.  From the north, out of the clear sky appeared a huge flaming sphere no less than 40 meters in diameter.

From its fore part emitted two “flame” beams, about “20 sazhens ahead of it” (i.e. around 40 meters; a sazhen is 2.13 meters). From its sides poured blue smoke. This huge ball of fire, its height like that of a modern 15-story building, hovered over the lake.
The phenomenon was observed by a multitude of people. It was the day of the Assumption, and villagers from all of nearby villages gathered for Mass at the parish church, situated on the lake shore. The “great noise” occurred just as the prayer singing had begun. Terrified by this noise, the people emerged from the church to the vestibule, but upon seeing the “frightful sight” they went back into the church and “prayed to the Lord and the Virgin Mary with tears and weeping,” whereupon “the great flame and the two smaller ones vanished.” However, soon after “the fiery flame” again appeared over the lake, somewhat to the west, “about half a versta (approximately 1750 feet) from the spot where it had vanished.”

Its appearance was just as unexpected as the first time and it had “dimmed.” A little later the same body, seemingly becoming even brighter and more terrifying, reappeared another half kilometer to the west, and then, moving westward, it dimmed and disappeared from view.
The “flame” hovered over Robozero for about an hour and a half. The lake is quite small, its size “two versts long and about one wide.” Peasants were sailing in a boat in the lake at the time, but the scorching heat did not let them come closer. They saw that light from the unknown object penetrated the water, and reached the bottom of the lake that was “about four sazhens down.” They observed “fish fleeing from the flame towards the shore.” And where the flame touched the water, appeared a brown film of oxide on the surface, resembling rust (“just like rust”); it was later dispersed by wind.
Ivan Rzhevsky was an educated and intelligent man, as his observations reveal quite clearly. He went as far as to check out the testimony of an eyewitness, a peasant by the name of Levko Fedorov. He also received written confirmation from the local priests that “such a sign was observed on that date;” only then did Rzhevsky report the occurrence to his superiors.  The Russian author provides a detailed description of the phenomenon, but does not offer any subjective interpretation of it.
Others tried to interpret the Robozero Phenomenon. Russian astronomer D. Svyatski, in his book “Astronomical phenomena in Russian chronicles (Petrograd, 1915),” claims that the eyewitnesses saw pieces of a meteorite that flew apart after an explosion. How could the people in the boat approach a hovering body? Some have tried to explain it as a ball lightning. But there was no storm and no rain that day. A lightning’s life span is short. Its diameter is not larger than a meter, certainly never 40 meters. Then, there were two rays that emitted from the body. Ball lightning does not emit rays.
Artist rendering of the UFO over Robozero Lake.

Yuri Roszius analyzed Rzhevsky’s report. His detailed analysis included the study of one interesting episode related by eyewitnesses. The document notes a change in the outer appearance of the object: an increase in its brightness when it came into view for the third time. For some reason this change preceded the start of the object’s progressive movement westward. In modern times, such increase in brightness could be attributed to the firing a cruise engines (increase in its trust). Is it by chance that the object’s brightness increased before its departure?
The Robozero Phenomenon did not really end in 1663. An expedition was sent to the area in the summer of 1982. It was headed by Candidate of Science (Physics and Mathematical Sciences), E. Gorshkov. He was also the science secretary of the Leningrad Commission for Anomalous Phenomena of the Geographic Society of the USSR; and manager of the Magnetic and Ionosphere laboratory of the Leningrad division of the Institute of Earth Magnetism, Ionosphere and Distribution of Radio Waves of the Soviet Academy of Sciences(IZMIRAN).
This Institute had actively participated in the SETKA, the secret UFO research program from 1978 through 1991, sanctioned by Soviet government.

The expedition had explored the area with special magneto metric equipment (instrument for measuring the magnitude and direction of a magnetic field). They discovered anomalous changes in the geomagnetic filed in the areas of hypothetical flight trajectory of the object (where it reportedly hovered and radiated). Such changes may be related to powerful electromagnetic influence of the low-flying object on strata of lake sediments.
Characteristics of “magnetic memory” of the sedimentary matter ensured that the traces of such influence were preserved. The 1982 research had confirmed not only the objective reality of the Robozero Phenomenon (according to Gherman Kolchin, former Soviet military officer, Russian writer and UFO researcher) but also its high energy content.
